Eighty three years of friendship, fun, and family...you are so loved and missed. Thanks for being a loving and supportive father, for teaching me how to look people in the eye, change a tire, and to balance a checkbook. But most importantly thanks for teaching me how to be a good parent and spouse,
Gene was a first class gentleman and I feel honored to have known him. Always smiling, always upbeat looking at the positive in any situation. He absolutely adored Mignon and the love they shared was so obvious and endearing. Gene left a positive mark in this world and all those who knew him are blessed with a treasure of endearing memories.
We will always miss him
Gene Ballard was the kind of man who really WILL be missed. Whether his life was moving up or down he was always upbeat, and we all felt enriched by being with him.
I especially remember Gene and Mignon dancing joyfully at Melissa and Mark's wedding. Memories like that will live forever!
